Ashley was born a month earlier, weighing less than 3 pounds. In ICU she stayed for an entire month. Parents were informed that she'd need a heart operation at Christmas Day. The prayers were answered when Ashley's parents went to the hospital Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart had closed. Ashley wasn't in need of surgery. After two months in the hospital, she left with 4 1/2 pounds. Since then, she's been in good health! Her father is of English and German ancestry. Her mother's family from Ireland is where she comes from. Ashley made her acting debut as Barbie Doll in the commercial for Salon Surprise in 2002. Ashley was then pursued at age 8 with the Ford Modeling Agency. Ashley has been steadily working with The Ford Modeling Agency throughout her career. When she was 10 Ashley decided to go into acting. Ashley was able to perform 35 commercials before moving onto stage roles. Ashley is now a zealous for acting. Ashley devoted all of her time for acting and no longer had any spare time for dancing or modeling. Ashley's last appearance in ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was "Hanna Marin". Ashley made a brief cameo appearance in the music video "True Love" by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney took a photo with Ashley for Vogue Magazine. The singer is in the video for "That Girl" by NLT.
