Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on October 1, 1995 in Berkeley, California, USA. She is an American actress that has appeared on screen in Choices (2010) and The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family that also includes actors and directors also pursued these careers. She began her career in film when she was nine years old in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni bisogni. By 1988 she was the lead of Cristina Comencini's Zoo and a member of Michele Soavi's The Church. Following that the film, she portrayed Nanni Moritti's baby as a child in Red Wood Pigeon. Her professional career took off after she was cast as Nanni's little girl for the film Close Friends. Cannes International Film Festival was a huge achievement for the film. Daria Ninodi is the director's loved actress, and she played a young anorexic woman seeking to find her parents' murderer in Trauma. Asia's intense, absorbed acting style was used to great effect in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. In 1993, she was a co-star in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista. She performed the role of Arianna who was a disabled girl. It was a complex, challenging part that earned an award from David di Donatello award for the the best actress. She was also a featured role in the international cast in the film Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995 she worked alongside Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration won her an award from the David diDonatello and a Grolla d'oro. Asia started directing in the year 1994. She released two shorts as well as an episode of the film De Generazione. In 1996 she directed an documentary on her father, and AbelAsia which was a documentary about the famous filmmaker Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which won awards by the Rome Film Festival. Asia's debut feature film as a director was Scarlet Diva with the film in which she starred as the lead actress and also wrote the screenplay. The film debuted in the month of May in Italy and the rest of the world. It won an award in the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
